Emily Man, MS
CO-FOUNDER & CEO
Emily Man has led Venova Technologies as Co-Founder & CEO since inception. Emily is the recipient and PI on 6 NIH grants and 1 NSF grant. She has received 1 NIH SBIR/STTR Phase II grant, 2 NIH SBIR/STTR Phase I grants, and 2 NICHD X01 service contracts. She is also Co-Investigator on two Massachusetts state grants.
Emily has worked in several medical device industries, including orthopedic implants, advanced stenting technologies, heart valve implants, and rehabilitative exoskeleton devices. Her academic and industry experience span healthcare, biomechanics and mechanobiology, cancer biomarker research, cell therapy, and include contributions to the first IND clearance from the FDA for a multiplex-base edited investigational drug.
Emily holds a BS and MS in Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering from Northeastern University, where she received a Presidential Global Scholarship, College of Engineering Distinguished Scholar Award, and Bioengineering Trailblazer Award.
